Job
Summary:
Performs daily accounting activities, such as invoicing, filing, data entry, and reconciling credit card statements.
Responsibilities &
Essential Functions:
Compiles and sorts invoices, obtains payment approvals, and processes bills for payment.
Researches, tracks, and resolves accounting problems, including answering inquiries and providing information to vendors and staff.
Cuts checks on a weekly basis.
Reviews expense reports to ensure accuracy, including those submitted through expense system.
Performs credit card reconciliations.
Provides back up support for RX invoicing.
Analyzes, investigates and corrects accounting entries as needed using knowledge of accounting principles.
Performs a variety of accounting projects based on business needs.
Provides support as needed to support the accounting infrastructure of the organization.
Adheres to all company policies and procedures.
Minimum Experience Required:
1 to 2 years of Accounting experience preferred, but not required.
Skills Required:
Work with minimal supervision and exercise sound judgment within scope of authority
Highly detail-oriented
Knowledge of accounting principles
Intermediate Excel skills.
Experience with Sage 300 ERP is not required, but highly desired
