We’ll be looking to you to review and analyze financial information for SEC Filings (10K and 10Q) to ensure accurate and complete disclosures that are in accordance with SEC, FASB, and other accounting standards. You will preform quality and timely SEC and technical analysis, including preparation of summary memoranda to be presented to management and outside auditors. You will perform research on SEC filing best practices and propose recommendations. You’ll manage certain aspects of public company audit and quarterly reviews. You will coordinator quarterly review packages with various accounting departments. You’ll review and analyze stand-along financial statements for regulators and manage stand-along financial statement audits. You will prepare, review, and analyze ad hoc reporting requested by senior management and regulators. You’ll perform consolidation of entities for internal and external reporting purposes.
For such a detail-oriented role, you will be degree educated in Accounting and achieved your CPA. You will have 5+ years of experience in accounting with experience in technical accounting or reporting, big 4 public accounting is a plus. You’ll be a strong communicator with the ability to work with multiple departments and leadership levels. You will have strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks at one time. You’ll have advanced problem-solving, decision-making and diplomacy skills. You will demonstrate the ability to work successfully in MS Excel, and Word, and have knowledge of financial systems such as HRM and Oracle. Previous experience of agile working methodologies is also desirable.

The annual gross base salary range is $81,813.04 –$144,116.36. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive an annual bonus that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies. Salary is one component of the Western Union total compensation package, which includes short-term incentives, multiple health insurance options, accident and life insurance, and access to best-in-class development platforms, to name a few!
