Develop and execute product marketing strategies including product management and promotions with the branch network. Oversee the banks customer communications.
Manage departmental marketing and support activities. Manage vendor partnerships. Conduct market and customer research. Ensure established brand standards are consistent across all venues.
Represent the department in cross-divisional implementation teams and meetings. System owner and administrator of the Companys MCIF database.
Serve as the departments Business Unit Compliance Officer ensuring compliance with bank policy and applicable regulations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS : Manage all areas of product development and product management. Manage the product development and implementation process.
Plan the launch of new products including analysis of product opportunities and financial implications. Manage a cross-functional implementation plan collaborating with Systems, Operations and Banking division.
Ensure testing and delivery of new products or product enhancements on a timely and cost-effective basis. Develop pricing for the Banks products.
Analyze product performance, projections and costs to identify additional opportunities to increase revenue and reduce costs.
Evaluate competitive practices and industry trends affecting products to ensure Bank remains in viable, competitive position in marketplace.
Develop customer facing collateral, product material and web content. Review product material to ensure Federal compliance standards, state regulations and bank policies are met.
Plan, develop and administer the Banks product promotion strategies. Develop an annual market calendar to support and attain the banks business objectives.
Implement strategies, marketing plans and promotions for existing and new products. Develop and support strategic initiatives for the Banking Division targeted at increasing sales.
Identify and maximize business opportunities. Manage market research and analysis for market potential, competitive position, market trends and service quality.
Identify, develop and maintain tracking measures to determine product performance. Develop customer relationship and product penetration information through the effective use of MCIF data.
Ensure effective communications are distributed in a timely fashion to branch staff, sales team and bank divisions regarding new or enhanced products, pricing, changes in regulatory requirements, promotions and advertising campaigns.
Communicate programs and procedures through the publication of clear, concise user material and written procedures. Ensure changes are incorporated into existing computer programs and operations documentation.
Coordinate product / program training with the Corporate Training Department when appropriate. Responsible for developing programs to monitor and improve quality of service.
Responsible for the publication of the monthly employee newsletter. Member of the Consumer Complaint Committee. Serves as the departments Business Unit Compliance Officer.
Maintains a strong working knowledge of all laws and regulations affecting designated areas of responsibility. Keeps abreast of new and changing laws and regulations.
As needed, formulates and updates policies and procedures / job aids which incorporate regulatory requirements and disseminates information to employees.
Assists division management with the development and implementation of a comprehensive compliance risk assessment. Ensures internal controls that mitigate compliance risk are established, maintained, and applied in practice.
Completes assigned compliance training courses, BCG, and Bank regulating agencies training affecting designated areas of responsibility and disseminates the information, as appropriate, with colleagues and employees.
Participates in the Regulatory Compliance Committee meetings. Participate in cross-divisional project implementation teams and represent the department at divisional meetings.
Event planning. Responsible for coordination, planning and implementation of the annual Employee Recognition Event. System owner of the MCIF Touche Analyzer database.
Ensure monthly database builds are completed timely and software functions correctly. Implement new product interfaces as needed.
Perform ad hoc and periodic data query requests from branches, management and other departments. Train staff and attend training as required.
Oversee, train, develop, and direct the activities of subordinates. Participates in other special projects and performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements Requires a minimum of eight years of experience in product management or similar marketing capacity preferably in a financial services institution.
A Bachelors Degree in a related field is highly desirable, an MBA is a plus. Strong working knowledge of banking regulation related to areas of responsibility including but not limited to Regulation P, Gramm Leach Bliley, Can-Spam Act, Regulation AA, Regulation DD and Regulation Z.
