Position Summary:
Responsible for managing the corporate consolidation process and for accurate, timely, and efficient consolidated reporting and analyses. Working together with regional controllers, coordinate financial accounting and management reporting that meets consolidated and business unit management needs. Specific areas of expertise include serving as a liaison to other functional areas, external advisors and auditors, coordinating the practices and procedures of accounting functions corporate-wide, and managing the preparation of investor and lender reporting and presentation materials.

Duties and Responsibilities

• In conjunction with Controllers, coordinate the period-end close process ensuring adequate controls and a consistent cadence of reporting and of improving efficiencies.
• Manage the consolidation and consolidated financial reporting processes and coordinate preparation of consolidated account analyses, reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Coordinate and participate in design and implementation of effective, insightful management reporting and analysis of global company spending across offices, business units and categories. Become proficient at using financial system and business intelligence software to support this.
• Coordinate and assist with monthly budget vs actual reviews with key stakeholders within a global and multi-currency environment across multiple time zones.
• Supervise and participate in preparation of consolidated financial statements for bank covenant compliance and reporting requirements of lenders and private equity investors including ancillary reports, analyses, schedules, and documentation needed.
• Supervise and participate in the preparation of Investor and Board of Directors’ presentation materials.
• Manage preparation of internal reports, account analyses and reconciliations for contingent payments including earn-outs, incentives, and benefit plans.
• Understand the impact of inter-company transactions and related business goals; ensure accounting reflects intended inter-company outcomes, the substance of transactions, and complies with GAAP and legal requirements.
• Assist with corporate-wide planning and budgeting including corporate functions and at the business unit level.
• Coordinate and participate in design, implementation, and monitoring of accounting policies and procedures in compliance with generally accepted accounting and reporting standards.
• Coordinate external audits and preparation of financial statements, and interface with external auditors on accounting issues in support of the company’s accounting, reporting and disclosure positions.
• Supervise and perform special accounting analysis and projects, as necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education, Experience, and Competencies

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting and Certified Public Accounting License required. Ideal candidate has at least 6 years of experience with a regional, national, or international accounting firm and recent experience with accounting and financial reporting in either public accounting or industry.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $120,000.00 – $135,000.00 per year
