Corporate and Investment Banking
Delivers a suite of capital markets, banking, and financial products and services to
corporate, commercial real estate, government and institutional clients globally. Products and services include corporate banking, investment banking, treasury management, commercial real estate lending and servicing, equity and fixed income solutions, as well as sales, trading, and research capabilities.
Investment Banking (IB) encompasses Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and Capital Markets products and services sold via product and coverage bankers. M&A provides a full range of services including buyside and sellside advisory, mergers, recapitalizations, leveraged buyouts, joint ventures and divestitures amongst others. Capital Markets focus on providing tailored financing solutions in the areas of Debt Capital Markets (origination, structuring, syndicate, sale of high yield and investment grade loan and bond products) and Equity Capital Markets (origination of primary equity transactions and manage structuring, syndication, marketing and distribution of equity, equity linked and equity derived products).
Chief Financial Officer for CIB Banking
The CIB Banking CFO is one of three business line CFOs reporting to the CIB-CFO also having accountability to the Head of Banking. The function drives financial expertise for Corporate Investment Banking.
We are seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to support Investment Banking products within the Banking CFO division
Responsible for financial and economic analysis, forecasting and evaluating trends in sales, finance, and other areas of the business.
Support the M&A and Equity Capital Markets product sets and work closely with the product leaders and COOs
Complete financial planning, reporting, analysis and commentary for overall Investment Banking products which includes quarterly investor relations deliverables and special projects assistance.
Analyzing and reporting monthly financial performance
Strategic advisor to the business by informing senior management of variances/trends, assist monthly close and monthly forecasting and financial information request management.
CFO Office identifies areas of financial risk and mitigates efforts appropriately to improve financial performance by analyzing business unit performance and recommending improvements.
Position requires in-depth research of financial and operational data, ability to articulate same to senior management and project work supporting strategic growth initiatives.
Specific responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Prepare/perform financial planning, reporting, analysis, commentary and full finance support for M&A and Equity Capital Markets products working closely with product leaders and COOs
Partner with CFO Investment Banking team to update monthly LOB expense projections including initiatives as part of rolling forecast process
Work closely with CIB and Banking CFO Office, Corporate Accounting, Controllers Groups and others to meet accounting/finance objectives
Special projects work and ad hoc requests
Required Qualifications:

Experience in finance or a Banking related position
Master of Business Administration or Certified Public Accountant designation
Financial services industry experience preferably within Corporate and Investment Banking
4+ years accounting, financial analysis, financial reporting experience
Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
Experience resolving and working through escalated and complex issues
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities
Ability to prepare management level presentations and communicate effectively with senior management in a confident and succinct manner
Pay Range
$100,800.00 – $179,200.00 Annual
