This team also processes tax vendor invoices for payment, prepares state tax filings, provides proof of tax payments, and performs reconciliations for over 40+ house/suspense accounts that are used in the payment process In this role, you will:* + Perform and orchestrate quarter distribution of client tax payments using EFTPS software, ensuring all required documentation and forms are on file and stored to support payment distributions + Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements + Cash processing of tax payment requests, wire transfers and stop payments + Creating check payment transmittals/cover letters, and FedEx shipments + Logging, scanning, and tracking tax payment transmittal forms + Monitoring and providing follow-up with the responsible parties related to outstanding/unpaid checks + Working effectively under minimal supervision + Processing accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions and AP bill payments + Balancing end of day (EOD) and proof of deposit (POD) work + Reviewing and responding to time sensitive taxing authority notices and inquiries + Working closely with Trust Administration, Tax Liaisons, and other internal business units to address questions and concerns + Working closely with tax preparers, both internal and external (including our primary vendor, PwC) + Receiving, sorting, logging, and distributing incoming, outgoing, and returned mail + May handle special projects and/or assist in day-to-day operations of the unit as needed.Required Qualifications:* + 2+ years of Securities Operations experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.Desired Qualifications:* + Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills + Able to work on more complex transactions and escalated issues + Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills + Effective organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills + Ability to work independently, proactively, innovatively, and creatively while exercising sound judgment + Solid problem-solving skills + Experience with SEI Trust 3000 + Intermediate Microsoft Office skills + Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information + Knowledge and understanding of estate, trust, or fiduciary administration + Knowledge and understanding of trust, fiduciary law, and federal regulations/operations + Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex technical problems + Experience developing partnerships and collaborating with other business and functional areas + Ability to identify business needs and deliver solutions in close partnership with line of business and technology + Outstanding troubleshooting and resolution skills + Ability to develop partnerships and build trust with third-party vendors.
