In this role, you will:

• Ensure Technology Product Owners are aware and understand all financial information related to the products they own. This includes understanding overall costs, unit rates, consumers, forecast trends, etc.

• Partner across the Technology and Finance organization to drive change and significant transformation. Present necessary information to help influence and ensure buy-in from key strategic partners.

• Perform pro-forma analysis on recommended unit rate changes and rationalize reasonability by partnering with Technology and Finance partners

• Define and build out target pricing and charge-backs for compute , cloud and storage products used to support forecasting and optimization of overall spend.

• Provide necessary data and transparency to support hosting cost analysis which will be foundational to the Hosting Strategy transformation.

• Support presentations to senior management that clearly articulate the financial strategies along with providing insights/recommendations for the different compute environments.

• Help define, maintain, and refine key metrics associated with the compute products.

• Provide ad-hoc financial analysis to senior management on a frequent basis.

• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and timeliness in all financial reporting and presentations.

• Research strategies and make recommendations for forward financial planning

• Provide support to more experienced professionals in the management of product pricing, portfolio performance, closing research and validation

• Review technical challenges that require evaluation or multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors

• Make decisions in maintaining effective and efficient reporting delivery that meets brand standards and internal control standards

• Lead implementation of the most complex initiatives impacting multiple lines of business companywide

• Meet deliverables and drive new initiatives with solid understanding of policies, procedures, and compliance requirements

• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

Required Qualifications, US:

• 5+ years of Finance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

• Ability to leverage technical acumen to build transparent unit rate and consumption data in accordance with the Technology Business Management (TBM) framework.

• Highly effective in overcoming objections using skillful persuasion to influence decision making

• Displays a strong ability to learn rapidly and quickly adapt to changing situations

• Proven strategic planning experience

• Proven leadership experience in developing innovative solutions; driving organizational change and managing teams through change

• Exceptional track record of delivering results

• Ability to translate complex concepts, appropriately communicating the information to both technical and non-technical audiences

• Using technical understanding of the compute environments, engage and communicate openly, forcefully and effectively, providing credible challenges when necessary with executive management within Technology and Finance

• Experience building out and operationalizing business management of Public Cloud environments.

• Strong technical understanding of on and off premise compute hosting environments – Physical and Virtual Servers, Private and Public Cloud, Storage.

• Strong technical understanding of Technology compute environments to identify, thoroughly analyze, and solve highly complex problems and reach independent decisions

• Ability to manage effectively in a matrixed organization, shaping the work while identifying, directing and coordinating resources not in your chain of command

• Demonstrated highly effective verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills
