The Director will serve in a lead banker coverage capacity for major Higher Education and not-for-profit issuers nationwide. They will also be responsible for coordinating coverage efforts and effectively partnering with Regionally-focused teams within Public Finance and Relationship Managers in Commercial Banking. The position will require a significant depth and tenure of relationships with Higher Education and Nonprofit issuers.
A successful candidate will be an acknowledged expert in their field, and be able to build upon a network of influence among municipal market professionals including state and local treasurers, finance directors, bond lawyers, credit providers, financial advisors, rating agencies, and key industry vendors (such as public accounting firms). They will demonstrate the ability to work effectively with teammates, within the framework of the strategic alliance, to accomplish annual and long term business objectives. As a whole, a successful candidate will represent MPG within the Company, and externally in support of specific municipal finance business.
