Position Title : Manager, Finance (Controller)
Location : Permanently remote but based in the US / East Coast
Reports to : Director of Operations
Hours per week (average) : Full-time

Position Summary
We Mean Business Coalition is a group of nonprofit organizations, working with the world’s most influential businesses to take action on climate change.
Together, we catalyze business and policy action to halve emissions by 2030 and accelerate an inclusive transition to a net-zero economy.
The Operations team is essential to driving the success of the Coalition. The team is working on providing operational support to the organization and ensuring the processes in place are inclusive and aligned with the strategy.
The Finance Manager (Controller) will report to the Director of Operations. They will perform complex finance functions and activities.
The Finance Manager will be responsible for the monthly closing process, financial analysis & reporting, fund management, internal controls, accounting, and be a financial resource for the Director of Operations as well as the CEO.
A successful candidate must be very detail-oriented, as well as a strategic thinker; must have strong communication and organizational skills.
