This position is a full-time position, with core teammates in Atlanta, GA, Austin, TX, Denver, CO, Oakland, CA, and Washington, DC. Areas of Responsibility
1. Owning relationships in the states
Control tower of information in Way to Win targeted states and can understand, navigate small-p politics in states and regions, manage information, and relationships
Hold organizational relationships in key states (encompassing narrative and field) to keep up to date on strategy, budgets, and plans
Work closely with the Senior Director of Political Strategy to keep abreast of gathered intel for interdepartmental needs, communicate effectively the intel from states internally to the political and advising teams, both verbally and in written memos/updates
Help the Deputy Political Director and Senior Director of Political Strategy with signature events
2. Information/Strategy Analysis and Management
Compile information in centralized places, updating appropriate trackers, memos, and decks in real-time
Create thorough electoral analysis of a state/district and recommend a funding strategy to accomplish that in a values aligned manner
Faithfully use Salesforce as a single source of truth, rigorously updating and ensuring the quality and integrity of the data
3. Gathering Strategy Underpinning Plan to Govern / Plan to Win
Help co-create and execute a data-driven, long-term strategy – knowing who to bring in, when, and how
Collect state targeting data and partner plans needed to finalize Way’s signature funding strategies
Develop and revise drafts of funding strategy in collaboration with Senior Director of Political Strategy
Ensure political marketing materials maintain the integrity of their source material
Cull issue-specific or demographic-specific slices from source material
4. Supporting the Political Team
Support internal alignment across the department and provide administrative support, which may include scheduling for principals

Relevant experience:
Managed a civic engagement / electoral campaign understanding strategy, multiple and competing projects, tactics, and deadlines.
Previously served as a Campaign Manager for a legislative or congressional district race or Political/Organizing Director of a state or local organization.
Has developed and worked with campaign and/or organizational budgets.
Strelationship-buildinglding skills with a race, gender, and class lens.
