We are seeking a talented marketing professional for the General Manager, ES&O Global Marketing role to lead a team of ambitious professionals in the development and implementation of global marketing initiatives.
Working within our ES&O team, we are looking for a leader who can guide, mentor, and support our growing marketing efforts, with timely and successful execution of strategies.
You will work closely with stakeholders across the organization to drive seamless functional marketing strategy, from regional leaders to engineers and the corporate brand marketing team.
We are looking for a creative and energetic change-maker comfortable providing leadership as well as hands-on management of projects and major initiatives.
Attention to detail and a highly organized personality, along with the ability to grasp and translate technical concepts, is crucial.
Scope of Work
Ensures incorporation of differentiating content to external and internal stake holders.

Wärtsilä North America values our employees. We offer a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package. Wärtsilä North America is an EOE / AA employer.
For applicants that reside in NY , the salary range / hourly wage range is $ 117,306 – 217,854.
For applicants that reside in CA / CO / WA , the salary range / hourly wage range is $150,000 – $185,000.
The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby / on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
Eligibility to participate in : the discretionary incentive plan assigned to the level of position upon offer of employment;
medical, dental and vision coverage, 401(k) plan and flexible spending accounts, subject to plan terms; Company-paid benefits such as life insurance, short- and long-term disability, subject to applicable waiting periods.
Paid time off (PTO) is accrued on a per-pay period basis in accordance with tenure in the Company; a new hire can expect 17 days per year.
Twelve (12) Company-paid holidays.
