Walmart’s Indirect Tax Team plays a critical role in
the company’s financial operations, focusing on compliance,
operational, and audit aspects of sales and use tax. As a Fortune 1
market leader, Walmart is committed to transforming its end-to-end tax
calculation system and processes, embarking on a multi-year journey to
centralize and modernize its tax engine and compliance reporting. The
team is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of transaction taxes
charged to customers and members across Walmart and Sam’s Club
domestic operations. With responsibility for reporting and remitting
transactional taxes across thousands of jurisdictions, the Indirect
Tax Team also provides valuable insights to key tax policy
stakeholders.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit
program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam’s
Club facilities. Programs range from high school completion to
bachelor’s degrees, including English Language Learning and short-form
certificates. Tuition, books, and fees are completely paid for by
Walmart.
Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and
may depend on your job classification and length of employment.

The annual salary range
for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00
Additional
compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance,
Economics or related field and 3 years’ experience in accounting,
finance, income tax
compliance, or related area OR 5 years’
experience in accounting, finance, income tax compliance, or related
area.
1 years’ supervisory experience.
