Walmart Global Technology Finance is seeking a strategic, analytical, confident, and knowledgeable finance professional to join our team as Senior Manager l, Global Technology, Finance. In this role, you will support the Walmart Global Technology organization. As Senior Manager I, Global Technology, Finance you will work with various technology business teams and procurement to dive deep, explore and mine for hidden value in the technology space. You will work cross-functionally with various teams to investigate processes, contracts, portfolios, public and private cloud usage, etc. The Senior Manager I, Global Technology, Finance role has the unique opportunity to identify savings, recommend and help implement mechanisms and tools and establish enduring and sustainable cost-efficient processes.
We are looking for a strong, smart and strategic thinking technology-oriented finance professional who can “explore and mine the deeper parts of the land versus just farm on it”. You will have a unique opportunity to wear a strategic finance hat, with heightened curiosity and bias for action and work cross-functionally with various teams to investigate processes, contracts, portfolios, public and private cloud usage, etc. You will have the unique opportunity to identify savings, recommend and help implement mechanisms and tools and establish enduring and sustainable cost-efficiency processes which will ensure these mechanisms will last and scale with the business. As Senior Manager I, Global Technology, Finance, you are comfortable working with large amounts of data and conducting rigorous analysis. The Senior Manager I, Global Technology, Finance must be a critical decision maker with multidimensional thinking and the ability to deliver insightful analysis.
You’ll make an impact by:
Creating and implementing technology asset and workload P&L reporting, financial forecasting, annual operating plan, annual operating plan, and partnering with various stakeholders to accomplish overall cost management goals
Developing and implementing initiatives, and providing feedback to leadership regarding risks associated with strategic initiatives, insight on historical trends, expected future outcomes, and industry trends
Providing direction to the financial planning process by preparing financial analysis and modeling; recommending future expense targets; planning and analyzing business performance in partnership
Collaborating with senior management to plan and analyze business performance by identifying gaps between business goals and corporate objectives
Managing complex control structures to mitigate risk of financial misstatements by examining and monitoring at various stages; ensuring proper controls are present in new and existing financial functions, and working to enhance reporting transparency of company financial systems
Driving the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs; developing and communicating business plans and priorities; removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; identifying performance standards and developing contingency plans

You can influence and lead people across cultures at a senior level using sound judgment and successful execution, understand how to operate effectively across a diverse business
You have extensive program/project management experience
You have experience streamlining processes
Finance experience to include P&L reporting, financial forecasting, annual operating plan, long-range plan, etc.
You have experience working with cross-functional teams
You have excellent communication and presentation skills
You have technology finance experience to include heavy analytics and prior experience working with a major technology company
