Play a critical role in delivering the plan for the US Segment, delivering Sales, Gross Profit and Inventory targets for AOP and LRP. You will work closely finance and business teams to ensure targets are achieved corporately as well as at Department and Channel level. You will need to be adept at changing your communication style depending on the audience and level of detail.
Partner with leadership groups across Merchandising, Merchandise Operations, Supply Chain and eCommerce, being a thought leader regarding plan and performance drivers. You’ll lead insightful and actionable projects. Leading Teams – Continuously looking for ways to improve process efficiencies. Inspire teams to innovate in how they work and focus on the top things that will drive the business.
Advising Leadership – Business Partnership – Supporting priorities, top-of-mind, helping connect the dots and providing a forward-looking lens for the business
Forecasting, Planning and Analytics – Lead the merchandise planning process to maximize growth and profitability, leveraging the transformation team to streamline the process and harness AI/Machine Learning.
Transformation – Working with the forecasting tam lead to implement and automate planning processes in order to free up time to drive and implement strategy and value creation. Drive analysis and connect the dots across the organization that unlocks value and drives continuous improvement.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field and 5 years’ experience in accounting, finance, or relevant area OR 7 years’ experience in accounting, finance, or related area.
3+ years’ experience in Merchandise Finance, Analytics, Planning, Business Management, Omni-Channel Merchandising, or a related area
1+ years of experience leading and completing cross-functional projects
1+ years of senior leadership decision support and influencing experience
Strong organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines
Strong influencing and interpersonal skills
Detail and results-oriented with sense of urgency
