Manufacturer of the Year by Kentucky Association of Manufacturers for mid-sized companies! Seeking an accounting system professional to perform a variety of tasks in order to maintain our accounts payable database and complete accounts payable processes for our corporate accounting and finance department
Qualified applicants will be strongly-skilled at learning new computer systems and verifying the accuracy of data Will be a problem-solver who enjoys working with others to identify and solve discrepancies
This person will need a strong eye for accuracy and an ability to consistently process high volumes of invoices for payment
What You’ll Be Doing :
Serve as primary department Administrator for DocuWare – database administrator of field use and requirements, providing set up and training to new employees and other team members
Make changes to the system to manage / monitor backups, sync up to ERP files, vendor invoice workflow, stamps and task list
Monitor incoming A / P emails, store and index documents electronically Code invoices prior to their approval routing Monitor the invoice approval / payment process optimizing discounts offered
Interact with vendors, customers, IT, Purchasing and Customer Service personnel to analyze and assist with problems, resolutions and optimum processing
Prepare schedules and analysis as requested the Controller

Schedule : This position is overtime-eligible and will primarily work eight or more hours per day, five days per week based on business needs
Hours may be or similar
Location : This remote-eligible position will be based out of Shelbyville, KY; candidates must live within a commutable distance
This position will require a hybrid working arrangement where employee may be required to work onsite one day per week after training is completed

Qualifications
Two or more years of related experience in accounting roles including accounts payable tasks such as processing vendor invoices and weekly payment runs, matching invoices to receivers and POs
Includes using accounting or manufacturing ERP software and document management software such as DocuWare or similar
Shelbyville, KY or Louisville metro area (local) candidates only
