PRIMARY PURPOSE: Under minimal supervision, this position assists with financial planning and budgeting processes, analyzes financial statements and reports, develops financial models, prepares projections, and performs research and analysis as may be required by leadership. Responsible for providing project teams with financial guidance and assists with monthly close processes. DUTIES AND Responsibilities: Performs all assigned duties in compliance with internal SOPs and external regulations. Brings compliance issues to the attention of management. Assures quality customer service to all customers. Maintains good attendance and punctuality per the absence policy. Partners with FP&A Director to accurately and timely complete the monthly, quarterly, and annual finance deliverables for their assigned divisions or functions. Provides support/assistance in performing monthly analysis of revenue and/or expenses vs budget, with details of under- or over-performance documented and presented to leadership and business partners. Understands and monitors key business drivers and KPIs, providing value added insights to business partners and leadership as appropriate. Performs monthly proactive review of costs; flag early any changes to be corrected and/or reflected into the forecast based on actual results. Works with FP&A Director in managing company capital expenditure budgets. Responsible for various aspects of the month-end close process, including proposing corrections for accounting during month end close, accrual entries, etc. Reviews and approves PO requisitions to ensure coding is accurate and supported by budget. Communicates timely and effectively with both Corporate and Division Leadership and Management. Performs research and analysis as required. Ensures compliance with financial guidelines, company policies, and relevant legal regulations. Performs all other duties, at the discretion of management, as assigned. REQUIREMENTS: Knowledge/Education Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field required. Working knowledge of financial statements and strategies required. Experience in budget development required. Licenses/ Certifications None Experience Five years of financial analysis and planning experience or other relevant experience required. Strong financial acumen and analytics skills with a high degree of proficiency in data mining and forecasting model development required. Strong knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office, Oracle, and financial planning systems required. Skills/Abilities Must possess the skills and abilities to successfully perform all assigned duties and responsibilities. Must be able to maintain confidentiality. Detail-oriented and able to perform in a high-pressure environment. Ability to present financial information to a non-financial audience.
