This position will offer support to our clients in all general human resources areas to multiple companies, of multiple sizes, in multiple industries, including: HR topics training, policy/handbook revision/creation, HR advice, compiling HR information, client project management, unemployment and worker s compensation claims administration and HRIS system management.
This is a remote position; however, the HR Manager will need to be able to travel with Denver, CO and the greater area for client visits, meetings, and to conduct in-person training as needed.
Essential Functions :
The complete support of our clients in managing projects, timelines, needs and requests management of the payroll system, including: all data entry, changes, corrections, reporting, auditing, tracking etc. for each client, according to individual client service guidelines and philosophies.
Develop and maintain relationships with clients.
Professional and helpful management of communication and client relationships as they relate to the individual client service goals.
Handbook and policy revision and/or creation.
Providing client training on HR topics based on client requests for typically their managers.
Giving HR-related advice to clients on HR law topics, including wage and hour law, State law specifics, help with good practices, employee relations questions… etc.
Retrieving, compiling and analyzing HR information from different sources for different purposes (I.e. compiling payroll data for compensation analytics, gathering EEO data or creating reports for clients).
Managing professional relationships with clients, including helpful communication, assessing needs, initiative to execute tasks, ability to identify and red flag issues etc.
Unemployment claims management, including filling out the initial claim form by working with the client to obtain employment information, answering questions from the state, writing appeals for lost claims, and participating in UI hearings when requested (with assistance).
Worker s Compensation claims management, including filing 1st reports of injury, communicating with the client, adjuster and employee, maintaining the WC file for each injury, interpretation of work restrictions, modified duty tasks (with assistance) and following up with each claim until it is closed.
Payroll cross-training, including being the “back up” payroll person for the Payroll Manager, payroll system management (when requested), additions, deletions, changes, check creation, payroll runs etc. when Payroll Manager needs to be gone or needs extra support.

Educational and Experience Requirements:
A 4-year degree in Human Resources, Psychology and/or a related field.
Two (2) years experience as an HR Manager or Director (combination of experience and education may be considered).
Desire to learn more HR skills and continue a career in the field.

Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and HR systems (iSolved a huge plus).
Working Conditions :
This is a home based position, so a home office that must be and remain conducive to a productive workday is essential.
Sporadic, periodic and/or regular travel to client sites, as requested by the company and/or required by company operations.
