Job Description General
Summary:
Vinci Brands is seeking a Finance Manager to join our team headquarter in Irvine, Ca in a key role providing financial management to the organization. This position will report to the VP of Finance & Accounting and with a mid-high level of visibility and exposure in a rapidly forwarding branded consumer products company. The applicant will be passionate, hard-working finance professional with a proven technical skill in financial modeling, planning, analysis, and accounting. The ideal candidate will possess an entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to wear multiple hats while working cross functionally in a dynamic and fast pace environment.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Leadership role in the finance dept.
Drive quarterly, annual, and long-term financial planning process, conduct variance analyses, and forecasting for multiple diverse lines business
Partner with leadership to develop models, systems and processes which will provide important insights into our business and guide execution of our strategic plan
Work closely with peers in other functional areas to develop, maintain, analyze and report KPIs, as well as support the development of individual dashboards
Drive automation of key financial and business reporting processes
Partner with business units to build models from scratch, including various analyses to evaluate new business opportunities, business unit profitability, new product introductions, breakeven analyses and other ad-hoc items
Manage certain treasury-related aspects including cash flow modeling/projections
Partner with accounting team to support the production of the monthly financial reporting package & quarterly Board presentation, including the analysis of key metrics and identification of risks and opportunities for performance improvement
Assist with various financial-related duties to support the business including inventory management and sales compensation planning
Leadership and coaching – Provide guidance & mentorship to direct reports in best practices of financial analyses, report/ project deliverables, and business communications, as well as career development
Other projects, reports, and analysis as required
Qualifications:
5
years of relevant experience.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Experience automating reporting and creating KPI dashboards in data visualization software including Power BI or Tableau.
Strong knowledge of finance, FP&A and GAAP accounting.
Prior leadership/management experience a preferred.
Treasury experience is a plus.
Excellent attention to detail; Highly organized.
High proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Exceptional financial modeling skills.
Ability to multitask, adapt and flourish in a dynamic, fact paced work environment.
Education:
BA/BS degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or related field.
MBA and/or CPA a plus.
