Job Description Vaco is working with a Construction company that is urgently seeking an Accoubts Receivable professional with at least 2-3 years of experience. Thos role is heavily in payment posting/payment applications as their is very minimal collections , and AR Billing is only about 10% of daily responsibilities.
This position will seated on-site 3 days per week, and 2 days remote (Hybrid)
Job Requirements and Responsibilities:
- Processing, verifying, and posting receipts for goods sold or services rendered.
- Multi-entity corporations experience – 1 parent organization w/ multiple subsidiaries
- Researching and resolving account discrepancies.
- Processing and recording transactions.
- Maintaining records regarding payments and account statuses.
- Obtaining information from other departments to ensure records are accurate and complete and that accounts receivable ledgers and journals are up-to-date.
- Working with the collections department to review accounts, client payments, credit history, and develop new or better repayment terms.
- Performing administrative and clerical tasks, such as data entry, preparing invoices, sending bill reminders, filing paperwork, and contacting clients to discuss their accounts.
