Job Description: As an Accounts Payable Specialist with General Ledger experience, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounts payable functions while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with company policies and procedures. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and external vendors to maintain the financial health of the organization. Key responsibilities include:

• Reviewing, verifying, and processing invoices, expense reports, and payment requests promptly and accurately.
• Reconciling accounts payable transactions and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Monitoring and maintaining vendor accounts, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
• Preparing and analyzing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports related to accounts payable.
• Assisting with month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries and general ledger reconciliations.
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders to resolve payment issues and provide excellent customer service.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal controls.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• Proven experience (2+ years) as an Accounts Payable Specialist with exposure to general ledger functions.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office suite, with advanced skills in Excel.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors.
• Familiarity with relevant accounting regulations, such as Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
