A well-established financial services is company is seeking a R&D Tax credit Manager to help their team! This role is fully remote and has the probablity of converting to a permanent position.
Responsibilitites:
- Oversee projects to calculate and document taxpayers’ R&D tax credit
- Manage client at all steps of the project from inception to completion
- Collect and review relevant data from client finance, accounting, and engineering personnel
- Schedule and lead client interviews
- Research tax technical issues
- Data gathering, analysis, and analytics
- Calculating and/or reviewing federal and state R&D credits
- Conduct technical interviews with taxpayer SMEs to document R&D credits
- Drafting and/or reviewing technical project reports
- Assisting with IRS and state audits as necessary
Requirements:
- 3-5 years’ experience with R&D Tax credits
- Big 4 background
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
