Vaco Hiring for Finance Manager Job at Cincinnati, OH Full Time

The Finance Manager will analyze the organization’s revenues, liabilities, and other financial indicators to forecast it’s short, medium, and long-term cash flow position as well as evaluate and recommend investments and other financial instruments to meet these cash flow needs. This role will provide expertise and advice to managers to help them develop budgets, understand financial reports, and manage their financial responsibilities. The Manager will present findings and recommendations to top executives and prepare financial reports which may include auditor and financial analyst reports, profit and loss, balance sheets and regulatory reports and filings.

Responsibilities

• Works closely with Accounting to: Provide timely analysis of financial data and metrics used in business decisions
• Create executive level reporting packages to support senior leadership team meetings & monthly / quarterly business reviews
• Partner with Sub Business Unit leadership team (Sales, Engineering, etc) to maximize profitability and business performance
• Assesses risks and opportunities in the business and work with the management team to address and resolve issues in a timely manner
• Manage / lead direct reports and business leaders with focus on development and prioritization of key initiatives
• Other duties as assigned

Desired Experience

• 8+ Years of accounting/finance work experience
• Proven ability to build strong business relationships at all levels throughout an organization
• Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
• Demonstrated proficiency in analyzing financial data and preparing financial reports, statements, and projections.
• Strategic thinker that can translate business strategies into financial plans
• Demonstrates strong attention to detail, with excellent organizational skills capable of working in a fast-paced business environment with tight deadlines and evolving priorities

Education / Training Required

• Bachelors in Accounting/Finance or similar degree or equivalent experience, Masters Business Administration (MBA) or CPA preferred
