Essential Functions:
Patch management (clients, servers, databases) – continually monitor IT assets to determine patching and/or upgrades required, download and test patches.
Vulnerability remediation (coordination, tracking) – review vulnerability remediation tasks.
Continually monitor systems to ensure that endpoint protection is deployed to all IT assets.
Continually monitor systems to ensure that all IT assets have endpoint protection installed.
Collaborate with IT staff to examine network, server, and application logs to determine trends and identify security related concerns.
Coordinate periodic access controls review of Shared Services solutions.
Additional
Responsibilities:
Perform analysis to determine the effectiveness of current security controls to identify gaps and make recommendations for improvement.
Understand business processes and authorized behavior to be able to recognize anomalies.
Investigate anomalies, as warranted.
Research and stay current with emerging technology, best practice, and industry standards for the secure configuration of hardware and software.
Assist in compiling internal and external audit evidence, as requested.
Coordinate with Shared Services teams to create and maintain a standardized laptop image for the enterprise.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Conforms with all corporate policies and procedures.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree- Computer Science, Engineering, or Technology Related Field preferred.
Experience:
2-4 years- Hands on technical experience preferred.
Windows Imaging and Patching Procedure Knowledge and experience PreferredDesktop Imaging PreferredPowershell experienced preferred
