The Role Itself As an Accounting Analyst you’ll will be assigned based on skillset and training over time Tasks include learning insurance transactions (such as audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and return premium requests), annotating and invoicing within workflows, and managing ImageRight tasks from emails
Follow-up with agents and sales teams, handling email requests from corporate accounting, and working on the weekly Collection Action Report (CAR) are also part of the duties
Responsibilities include : The following responsibilities will be assigned and based on skillset and trained over a period of time : Learn insurance type transactions, timing and flows such as : Audits, Offset / Rebills, Cancellations, Reinstatements, Financed policies, Collection Action Reports, Return Premium Requests Annotate, prepare and invoice transactions within various work flows Initiate ImageRight tasks from emails within various workflows Follow up with agents and sales teams within various defined timing work flows Work the email repository regarding requests from Corp Accounting, Finance Co Notify and follow up with agents on various transactions Work the Action areas within the weekly Collection Action Report (CAR) What We Are Looking For : High volume email and / or ImageRight task flow experience – years of Accounting experience, including but not limited to invoicing Must have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, strong data entry skills and ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines Willingness to be cross-trained in various workflows Collection experience helpful Property Insurance transaction experience helpful Flexible and focused to work in-office or remote and trained on Microsoft Teams Customer service mindset and focus What USG has to offer : Comprehensive Benefits Package including : Company-paid benefits : Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, Basic Life, AD&D, and Team member Assistance Program Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life K Retirement Plan Flexible Spending Account Dependent Care Tuition Reimbursement Producer Savings Bonus Plan A week of hands-on, in-person training to meet our corporate team Access to / virtual training through USG University Outstanding Company Holiday Schedule and Generous Paid Time Off Package Potential for exponential growth in the company Join Us!
