The Pittsburgh Land Bank (PLB) is a single-purpose entity that facilitates the transition of distressed real property into productive reuse, whether public use or private development. The PLB is an affiliated entity of the URA. The PLB has its own Board of Directors, but the PLB Manager will be a URA employee and will report to the URA’s Assistant Director of Neighborhood Development. This position will be responsible for overall management of the PLB, carrying out the day-to-day functions of the organization, implementing the organization’s policies and procedures, and strategic plan as well as working to address pain points that have limited the PLB’s ability to fulfill its mission. The PLB Manager must be highly organized, self-motivated, diligent, innovative, willing to work collaboratively, and an active team member who seeks to create, improve and standardize key real estate transactional processes and land recycling initiatives throughout the City of Pittsburgh.
