Job Summary
The Radrick Farms Clubhouse Manager is responsible for the customer relations component of the operation in order to provide an exceptional golf experience at an exceptional value. The role of the Clubhouse Manager is to provide a safe, hospitable, comfortable, and secure environment for the customers and the staff.
Responsibilities*
Works with the General Manager to develop and implement our service strategy utilizing a team of seasonal employees with a focus on customer perspective.
Works with the Superintendent to coordinate calendar of events, tee time availability, and determine appropriate operational needs.
Regularly communicates with the management team to discuss tasks, goals, plans, industry trends, and customer feedback.
Ensures the quality of clubhouse operations by coordinating efforts for facility maintenance and the timely procurement of all materials inventory.
Interviews, hires, trains, and supervises clubhouse employees for the purpose of providing exceptional customer service and memorable events with a focus on safety, quality, collaboration, skills development, and efficiency.
Maintains communication avenues with customers including in-person interactions, printed materials, e-mail, surveys , website, social media, focus groups, and related committees.
Maintains the highest level of customer service expected by our customers.
Manages annual Season Pass Renewal Processing plan developed by the management team.
Collaborates with counterparts at UMGC to identify and execute synergistic opportunities.
Assists Management team with financial analysis and planning.
Oversees cash handling compliance of clubhouse operation.
Manages food and beverage services and EHS food service compliance.
Manages clubhouse operations including locker rooms, driving range, cart rentals and merchandising.
Plans and executes golf tournaments and annual outings.
Maintains golf shop operations P.O.S. network.
Resolve conflicts within the golf operations team and customers.
Required Qualifications*
Bachelor’s degree.
At least three seasons of experience in a recreational golf operation.
Management skills in hiring practices, employee relations, management styles, and leadership.
Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Proven time management and prioritization skills.
Desired Qualifications*
Master’s degree.
Experience in golf tournament management.
Working knowledge of operating and capital planning.
Working knowledge of computer networking / database management.
Experience with foreup software.
Member of the Club Managers Association or the PGA.
Possess Safe Serve Certification.
