Summary:
Under the supervision of the Director of Frontiers: University of Kansas Clinical and Translational Science Institute, the incumbent will work closely with the Principal Investigator(s), Associate Director(s), Administrative Director, and Core Leads to prepare and manage the Clinical and Translational Science Award (CTSA )budgets, prepare quarterly and annual financial reports, process invoices, payments and reimbursements.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or similar field
Ability to analyze and interpret budgets and make appropriate recommendations; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with faculty and other staff members; demonstrated ability to effectively organize, manage multiple tasks and work independently
Analytical, highly organized, meticulous and detail-oriented individual with excellent interpersonal oral and written communication skills
Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in health care administration, business administration, computer science, mathematics/statistics, management information science, data processing or related field
Experience with eRA Commons and Cayuse web-applications
Experience using Workday
Salary: $67,000-$76,000

Job Duties Outlined:
Track and report the spending of Core CTSA budgets
Track and report the overall composite CTSA budget and any CTSA supplement funding
Work closely with the Research Institute to prepare and submit annual budgets for progress reports using the eRA Commons system
Collaborate with the Research Institute to execute subcontracts
Manage grant and time/effort analysis
Prepare quarterly and annual financial reports for the CTSA and supported projects
Process invoices, payments, and reimbursements
Prepare and enter the annual budget into Workday
Perform data gathering, computations, analysis, and presentation to provide financial recommendations and projections
Participate in program projects and initiatives as assigned
Perform other duties as assigned
