The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) seeks a Marketing Assistant to assist with administrative and coordinating duties of the Marketing Team. This position will serve as the point of contact for external vendors and internal departments, keep up with invoices/ payments, proofing items for print and media, social media posting, and ensure the Marketing Team is current on jobs/requests, supplies, and software.
Assists or coordinates the marketing effort for a UAB product or service. Assists the client with product selection and positioning; identifying purpose, aim, offering, message and target audience. Secures proposal as to payment for product prior to implementation. Communicates with client throughout production process; clearly communicates any necessary product alterations to client and/or staff.
Hourly Pay Range: $15.00 – $21.00
Bachelor’s degree required. Work experience may substitute for education requirement. The ideal candidate should be highly organized, detailed, comfortable with MAC, and able to follow processes and procedures. Experience with ASANA software is a plus.
