We are currently recruiting for a Sr. Financial Consultant to join our team in our Minnetonka, offices.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop Part D pharmacy rebate and claims subject matter expertise
• Manage forecast, close & bid processes for the Part D pharmacy rebate programs
• Interface with OptumRx and Medicare finance leaders and build relationships to support the pharmacy rebate and claims close, forecast and bid processes
• Maintain understanding of any applicable CMS Guidance related to Part D pharmacy rebate programs
• Develop and maintain financial reports to clearly communicate actual results, forecasted performance, and variances to plan, forecast and budget
• Quickly grasp the complexities, interrelationships and conceptual themes among problems and issues
• Execute timely & accurate data sourcing, validation, analytics, and reporting
• Utilize intermediate Excel skills
• Ability to develop new processes & refine existing processes
• Produce clear, well-formatted reports that communicate a succinct, compelling message for stakeholders
• Generally work is self-directed and not prescribed
• Works with less structured, more complex issues
• Complete ad hoc analytics as needed

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors’ degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
• 4+ years of experience in financial and/or accounting analysis (excellent communication, time/project management, problem solving, organizational, and analytical skills
• Intermediate level of proficiency with Excel: experience in writing complex formulas, pivot tables, v-look-ups, charts and tables
• Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential job function of this role. Candidates located in states that mandate COVID-19 booster doses must also comply with those state requirements. Preferred Qualifications:

• FP&A Experience
• Healthcare industry experience
• Demonstrated experience with and knowledge of financial principles, practices and procedures as applied to complex assignments
• Ability to work under extremely tight deadlines and should be self-driven in nature with minimal supervision on day to day activities
• Performs work in a self – directed manner and works well with less structured, more complex issues
• Work independently, take initiative, and meet deadlines
• Solid analytical and communication skills with the ability to problem solve
