About the Position…
The Financial Analysis Manager (FAM) is an onsite position and does not have remote opportunities.
The Financial Analysis Manager (FAM) is responsible for the financial analysis primarily related to the loan portfolio. This analysis includes monitoring of the Banks credit quality and risk in the Banks loan portfolio. Activities include monitoring and reporting on the credit quality of the Banks Loan Portfolio to assess the credit risk in the loan portfolio and to determine the adequacy of the allowance for loan losses, Purchase Credit Impaired loans and monitoring the mark-to-market coverage. The FAM is responsible for related SEC reporting requirements. The FAM is also responsible for working with the Banks external vendor (Abrigo) with the implementation and transition to CECL. The FAM is also responsible for working with outside vendors to perform relevant due diligence and valuation analysis pertaining to Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and purchased loan asset pools.
About You…
You are a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit who thrives in a team environment. You also have the following:
Education/Certification: BS or BA in a related field is required.
Required Knowledge: Knowledge of Corporate Loan Portfolio Management and Credit Administration policies and procedures.
Experience Required: Minimum of 5 years of experience in banking capacity at similar or larger size financial institutions. Experience with Abrigo (aka Sageworks), FIS Horizon H360, IBM Cognos-Business Analytics, Excel VBA recommended
Skills/Abilities:
Excellent communication.
Loan Portfolio Analysis.
Mathematics, Modelling, and Computer Skills.
Strong understanding of CECL.
Credit Loss Modeling, Adverse Market Conditions, and Accounting and Banking Regulations.
