UniSea Looking for General Manager at Redmond, WA Full Time

Responsibilities include but are not limited to, achieving performance key metrics; expense and revenue management; strategic execution of local and corporate initiatives; compliance with government regulations. Responsible for building and developing the operations and production team along with ensuring a culture of engagement, problem-solving and continuous improvement.

Develop short- and long-term strategic plans to increase the customer base and revenue of the Cold Storage and Custom Processing operations. Emphasis on growth with reduced cost and effective utilization of resources. Regularly review rate structures and services to remain competitive in the industry.

Establish performance standards and mentor managers, supervisors, and employees to exceed expectations and accountability. Communicate values, ethics, objectives, and priorities to all employees. Oversee annual performance evaluations and provide coaching and training for employee development.

Develop, evaluate, and approve annual operating plans. Monitor organizational progress and implement corrective action where needed. Maintain organizational key performance indicators for making knowledgeable business decisions and optimal profitability.

Oversee the effective application of personnel practices, supervisory training, employee training, and communication techniques to develop and maintain favorable employee relations to achieve high employee morale and productivity as well as compliance with all regulatory policies. Provide a safe work environment through personal actions and establish a culture of safety and personal responsibility.

Stay abreast of internal and external influences in the industry, maintain current membership in professional organizations – GCCA, IARW. Manage the planning effort to accommodate new developments to maintain maximum competitive position.

Collaborate with customers, regulatory agencies, community organizations and employees, enforcing ethical business practices

Salary: $107,290.00 – $134,122.00 per year
