Position Responsibilities
Support recruiting team and hiring managers to ensure successful selection and onboarding of top talent.
Apply specific strategies, best practices and techniques to meet the demands of high-volume recruiting.
Participate in job fairs and college recruitment events and activities.
Plan and coordinate new employee orientation and training sessions.
Manage 30-day and 90-day new hire surveys and reporting.
Support benefits and leave administration programs, including short-term disability, workers’ compensation and personal leaves.
Assist with employee engagement initiatives.
Keep up to date on and act as a backup for all HR Coordinator responsibilities. Maintain functional knowledge of provincial legislation and processes.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field.
3+ years Human Resources experience.
CPHR designation an asset.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
