Position Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day operations of Uline’s new 915,000 square-feet warehouse that will stock over 40,000 packaging, industrial and janitorial products.
Lead, recruit, develop and motivate 200+ warehouse employees to deliver unparalleled service and same-day shipping.
Develop and execute strategic plans to support double-digit growth including labor planning, equipment and capital requirements.
Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations: Outbound Freight and Parcel Distribution, Inbound Receiving, Transportation, Returns, Safety and Inventory Control.
Manage daily plans to exceed expectations for productivity and order accuracy.
Maintain a clean, safe warehouse environment.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree.
5+ years experience, with supervisory experience, preferably in a multi-shift / multi-building distribution center environment.
Experience with various types of warehouse equipment, including trucks, stock pickers and forklifts.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task.
MUST be available to travel for an extended period for initial training at Uline’s other domestic locations.
