Vice President Finance
This is an outstanding opportunity to join one of the top

the academic enterprise to create an overall entity unparalleled in the United

The VP Finance works
collaboratively with executive leadership to determine organizational
priorities and goals. The VP Finance will direct the departments’ activities and resources to ensure
alignment with the mission, values, and objectives of the department and
organization.
Reporting Relationships
Reports to: Chief Financial Officer, Shared Services

The VP Finance is a
member of the executive team.
Achieving thevision. The VP Finance’s success in this
position will be measured by attaining these goals

Develops and implements policies and procedures that guide businessprocesses, support the delivery of services, and ensure a culture of qualityand satisfaction.

Leads departmental financial planning to ensure cost-efficientoperations and to maximize profitability.

Plansand monitors staffing activities, including hiring, orienting, evaluating,disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives.

Prepares, monitors, and evaluates departmental budgets, andensures that the departments operate in compliance with allocated funding.Coordinates and directs internal/external audits.

Researches and monitors industrial, professional and nationaldevelopments.Integrates datafrom multiple sources to support decision making.
Candidate Qualifications

Education/Certification
Master’s degree in related field
Minimum 5 years of related
management experience; 7 years of experience preferred

knowledge base and stature to deliver advice in a manner that is respected and

appropriately manage confidential matters, and strong commitment to the
organizational focus.

Prioritize effectively and exercise sound
judgment balancing the needs of the organization when making strategic
decisions.
