Technician must have demonstrated experience with network and support infrastructure of enterprise computing environments, knowledge of Active Directory, and the ability to implement AD infrastructure while adhering to policies and standard operating procedures. Additional responsibilities include participation in assessing, improving, and documenting workflow processes. Skills: __ AD Administration Technician skills and experience shall include, but are not limited to, the following: In-depth Knowledge and understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, security principles, and management tools In-depth Knowledge and understanding Active Directory related technologies including DNS, DHCP, application integration with Active Directory, LDAP, PowerShell, Security Explorer, knowledge of Exchange Management tools Experience with Windows production systems in an enterprise environment managed by Group Policy In-depth knowledge of Active Directory User and Computers, MMC Active Directory User Account, Security group creation and Administration, Exchange access protocols, MAPI, and Active Sync Expertise in all activities associated with providing end user support analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex desktop, laptop, peripheral, and mobile device problems for end-users, recommending and implementing corrective solutions. Effectively able to collaborate with other IT Service groups and stakeholders. Highly articulate with exceptional customer service and communication skills. Ability to communicate highly technical information to both technical and non-technical clients. Essential functions of this at-will job position include: __ Duties: __ An AD Account Administrator Technician is expected to successfully perform both the following long-term and daily duties as published below and as amended and/or added either expressly or implicitly by management. Long-term Duties Professionally represent and protect the interest of TTI in all interactions with customers, vendors, employees Provide the assigned Supervisor with timely insights into any significant client relations developments, etc. Improve technical proficiency in accurate system diagnosis/repairs Pursue and successfully complete any offered or required manufacturer or TTI training courses to heighten personal proficiency Daily Duties Participate in a team environment dynamic Effectively manage multiple projects and priorities Perform and complete all assigned service calls and/or tasks in an accurate and timely manner- includes duties of check-in/checkout with Supervisor, appointment confirmations with clients, general service preparedness, etc. Serve as an informed and reliable member of TTI by anticipating and satisfying customer and management requests for information or service in a timely and professional manner- no justifiable customer complaints Communicate in a positive, cooperative manner with co-workers Increase technical proficiency through hands-on training and/or technical manuals or mentors Satisfy or exceed service performance goals, including average ticket rates, average response timeframes, etc. Provide auxiliary assistance to other service providers in the performance of repair and support services Perform daily reporting requirements Respect and adhere to all TTI policies and procedures Microsoft Active Directory Account Administration – File and Print Administration – Microsoft Exchange / Microsoft 365 Mailbox Creation and Management Account Provisioning for Business Units Creating and granting secure network share access Creating and managing Active Directory security groups Creating and managing shared print queues Creating user exchange mailboxes and granting required internal and external email access Creating and managing exchange email distribution lists Granting and administering NTFS permissions and providing NTFS (ACL) share reports De-provisioning user accounts – includes disabling user account, disabling internal and external network access – Disabling internal and external email access Physical Requirements: __ Adequate vision and dexterity to operate computer systems and peripherals Adequate speech clarity and hearing to communicate efficiently with clients via telephone interactions Must be able to deal with high pressure situations and time constraints effectively Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time Additional Requirements: __ In addition to the technical knowledge, experience and competence required of this particular job position, TTI’s employees must also possess problem-solving skills, intelligence, perseverance, orderliness, responsibility, drive toward and satisfaction at the attainment of goals, calmness and endurance under stressful conditions, consistency and predictability in the regular attendance to duty, individual initiative as well as participation in group efforts, correct estimation of specific circumstances, fairness, empathy, appreciation toward fellow workers, and effective communications skills.
