Hiring Manager: Sr. Director, Human Resources

Description

• Responsible for overseeing compensation and benefits for TSMC’s North America and R&D offices
• Work closely with headquarters compensation and benefits team.
• Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of the company compensation and benefits programs.
• Conduct salary surveys, establish salary structures, develop salary budgets, and prepare policies/procedures to ensure competitive employee compensation.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of labor laws, federal and state local legislations influencing compensation and benefits.
• Monitor and evaluate the company’s benefits programs including insurance programs, retirement plans, sick leave, time off and vacation policies.
• Ensure programs are current with regard to trends, practices and costs.
• Responsible for annual salary reviews, bonus reviews, and promotion adjustment reviews.
• Oversee the organization’s benefits programs, which may include negotiating coverage and costs with carriers.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent experience required.
• 10-15+ years of relevant experience in compensation and benefits (Conducting/analyzing compensation surveys, collaboration with vendors, development/implementation of compensation and benefits, etc.) required
• Relevant certifications, such as CEBS or SHRM certification, preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of current salary benchmarking in the U.S.
• Prior experience in semiconductor company preferred.
• Good problem-solving, communication, multi-tasking and leadership skills.
• Good accountability, integrity, and commitment.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is beneficial but not required.
