Accounting Controller ()
Our client is a growing aviation company looking for an Accounting Controller to lead their accounting activities and a team of six

Responsibilities
- Ensure a high quality month end close, hitting deadlines and explaining key variances to relevant stakeholders
- Manage the production of the annual budget and forecasts
- Oversee, manage, and mentor a team of six
- Responsible for all maintenance job costing work packages and cost reports
- Lead finance & accounting improvement projects
- Provide financial analyses, for capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations
- Oversight over the outsourced payroll process, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
- Recommend benchmarks against which to measure the performance of company operations
- Coordinate with external auditors
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- + years of Part experience
- GAAP knowledge, CPA preferred
- Job costing experience
- Aviation industry experience
- Ability to travel up to %
