Trout Unlimited (“TU”) is uniquely positioned to create common ground among diverse interests. TU overcomes obstacles with grassroots credibility, professional skill, non-partisanship, and scientific expertise. They are a local, on-the-ground force and a national player building meaningful relationships with decision makers, land and resource stewards, community members, and other stakeholders.
Position Summary:
- Reconcile all cash receipts to bank and NetForum (CRM Platform)
- Prepare cash journal entries for posting in general ledger
- Perform research as needed to identify receipts and proper account coding
- Research and resolve discrepancies in a timely fashion
- Apply cash receipts to outstanding invoices in accounts receivable module
- Work collaboratively with member services, development, and external lockbox provider
- Prepare investment schedules and corresponding journal entries
- Respond to inquiries from various internal partners in a timely manner
- Assist with preparing and pulling documentation for audit requests
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing and department projects as needed
- Assist in implementation of new financial systems
. Requirements:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Skills particularly in Excel
- High attention to detail
- Strong organization skills
- Excellent communication skills
- NetSuite experience a plus
- Bachelors degree preferred
- 3-5 years relevant work experience
