VP of Finance

The Vice President, Finance is responsible for all Accounting and ALM/Investment activities that include the annual budget process, ensuring proper controls are in place for the timely and accurate recording and reporting of the organizations and its subsidiaries’ financial position, management of company’s investment portfolio.

MUST HAVE BANKING OR CREDIT UNION EXPERIENCE!!!!!

Job Duties

• Directs activities of the departments for which responsible, in accordance with companies’ policy and objectives. Ensures availability of competent, qualified personnel for key positions within the organization.
• Maintains a cohesive, highly trained and motivated staff, sufficient to meet the needs of the organization.
• Completes performance reviews within the prescribed time frame; notes observations of employee performance into Threads, as well as give and receive feedback from employee on the same at least quarterly.
• Analyzes accounting and financial data, reviews monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial results and assesses organization’s financial performance.
• Oversees the management of the investment portfolio and the development of investment strategies to ensure consistency with short- and long-term organizational goals and objectives
• Prepares and monitors the annual Operating Budget; directs the organization’s investment activities; directs and monitors the organization’s risk position by utilizing sound ALM practices and reporting.

Required Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field plus 8 to 10 years related work experience, including a minimum of three years supervisory experience
• MBA, CPA preferred
• Thorough knowledge of GAAP, Federal and State regulatory requirements is required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $180,000.00 – $200,000.00 per year
