Trio Investment Group Hiring for Finance Manager Job at Southport, CT Full Time

This role will be expected to onboard quickly and manage key finance processes from Day 1.

Responsibilities include:

• Expense and invoice management
• Managing the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data necessary for an accurate accounting of consolidated business results
• Coordinating and preparing internal and external financial statements with Trio’s outsourced accountants for Fund, management company and property-level accounting,
• Manage the documentation and tracking of Fund capital calls and distributions
• Manage and review monthly property rent collections
• Manage the documentation and tracking of the Fund’s debt facilities—including: o Tracking usage/availability o Completing draws and paydowns o Review of interest statements o Completion of quarterly compliance and covenant calculations

After this roles initial onboarding, it is expected that this role will be able to work with Trio’s Head of

Operations to build policies, procedures, controls, and reporting for key finance functions—including:

• Accounts payable and expenses
• Fund, management company, and property-level accounting
• Budget and forecasting
• Quarterly investor reporting
• Internal reporting

• Demonstrate exceptional numerical and financial proficiency
• Review existing data and processes to identify risks and areas of improvement
• Develop and communicate clear recommendations and solutions to Management Team
• Independently execute to implement recommendations while managing stakeholders
• Work autonomously, and at times, with little direction, in a fast-paced, high-growth start-up like environment

Professional Experience and Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years experience in public accounting, finance, private equity, real estate and/or other relevant industry
• Professional certification, such as CPA (certified public accountant) or CA (chartered accountant) strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of banking processes, financial analysis and reporting
• Proven experience in financial project management
• Ability to deliver quality work on tight deadlines, with strong organization and priority setting skills
• Must be able to communicate financial information into sound business language so people of all levels can understand
• Advanced computer skills, specifically Excel

Education and Licenses

• BA/BS in relevant area of study
• CPA (certified public accountant) or CA (chartered accountant)
