An internationally recognized company specializing in the wholesale distribution of electronic parts/communications equipment is seeking an entry-level AP Clerk to work at their office in Torrance, CA
- Long-Term Temporary (6 months-1 year duration; but may be longer)
- $18 – $20/hour
Requirements of the AP Clerk
- Bachelors of Science Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or a relevant field
- 1+ years of Accounting Assistant or Accounting Clerk experience Hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel and other accounting software (ie: QuickBooks) is a huge plusHave knowledge of basic bookkeeping proceduresGood with numbers, strong mathematical skills and the ability to spot numerical errorsExcellent organization and time management skillsAbility to handle sensitive and confidential informationEager to learn and able to work in a team-oriented environment
Responsibilities of the AP Clerk
- Create, update, and manage expense reports and reimbursements
- Entering financial transactions into their internal databases
- Reconciling invoices and identify discrepancies
- Checking spreadsheets for accuracy
- Maintain digital and physical financial records
- Participate in quarterly and annual audits
- Support the month-end, year-end closing processes
