TransJet Cargo Looking for Senior Accountant at Indianapolis, Indiana Full Time

Transjet Cargo is a Full asset based logistics brokerage. We provide logistics services to 1000s of customers all over the U.S. We are growing and looking for leaders to help us excel and succeed in our mission.

As a Senior Accountant/ Accounting Manager in TJC, You will be running reports weekly and monthly to do with U.S Logistics process. Auditing monthly for all AP/AR and reporting P/L, Must have knowledge of A to Z accounting and be well versed in Logistics. You will be head of the department and leading 8/10 individuals in the accounting department reporting directly to you.

We’re looking for an organized and driven Staff Accountant to join our growing team. The Staff Accountant position will work closely with our operations personnel and handle day-to-day book keeping.

Job Duties –

Prepare budgets

Manage AP/AR Departments

Manage Driver Payroll departments

Enter transactions and reconcile account balances

Prepare accurate work papers, schedules, and reconciliations for audit purposes

Send invoices to accounts

Enforce payment terms with accounts

Stay up to date on state and local tax laws

Work with external auditors

Record payments and disbursements

Prepare budgets and monitor expenditures

Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings

Requirements:

5+ years accounting experience

Expertise with QuickBook

Advanced computer skills in MS Office, accounting software and databases

Excellent organizational, problem-solving, project management and communication skills

Additional experience in Audit and International accounting

Experience with SaaS companies
