Toplitzky&Co Hiring for Tax Manager Job at Beverly Hills, CA Full Time

Toplitzky&Co is seeking a motivated individual to serve in an expansive role where you will have direct exposure to all aspects of the services we provide, including family office, business management, and sophisticated tax planning for high net worth families and businesses. She/he will communicate regularly with clients and it is therefore necessary for this person to have strong English language communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage tax filing deadlines to ensure timely filings, reports, and obligations for all client activities
• Prepare and review individual, business (C-Corp, S-Corp, and Partnership), and fiduciary income tax returns and gift tax returns
• Prepare quarterly tax estimates for individuals and businesses
• Manage tax research projects to ensure issues are timely addressed to achieve superior outcomes for clients
• Assist clients with the formation of new business entities as required
• Tax planning support surrounding client mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, and joint ventures
• Coordinate with clients’ investment managers, attorneys, agents, managers, etc. as needed
• Oversee the coordination of the day-to-day duties of planning, tax work, and wrap-up
• Identify and communicate tax matters to associates and partners
• Build relationships with clients and staff

Education and Other Requirements

• Tax, accounting, business, economics, math, or other related area of study
• Bachelor’s degree (emphasis in Accounting, Business, Finance)
• Excellent English language written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent client service skills
• Approaches projects with a sense of urgency
• Highly motivated
• Outstanding analytical, organizational and project management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,000.00 – $225,000.00 per year
