Job description
The Site Manager for Janitorial Services is accountable for the supervision of services to an assigned customer account. This includes customer satisfaction and retention, personnel training and development, equipment maintenance, safety compliance, inventory control, personnel training, scheduling and job cost controls and implementation of continuous quality improvement.
Core responsibilities are as follows:
· Manage labor and supply costs in accordance with budgetary standards and contract specifications
· Hire and assign personnel for all positions. Train and develop personnel, recommend new hires, transfers, terminations, salary adjustments and promotions
· Establish and maintain effective customer relations. Communicate daily on complaints, special requests and changes
· Conduct account inspections to evaluate quality of service, safety compliance and labor adjustments
· Perform and maintain personnel record keeping functions e.g. work scheduling, timesheets and work orders, safety meetings, training meetings, etc.
· Requisition new equipment purchases and supplies; maintain equipment in operable and safe condition; recommend equipment repair
· Sell additional service to client and build a service package to better meet clients’ needs
