SUMMARY: Administers policies relating to human resources activity by performing the following duties. Has the responsibility for the implementation, conformity and performance of the process at the respective plant / OU for the Temporary Work Process (PNA), Introduction of Personnel, HR Recruitment processes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Manages recruitment activities such as job postings, employment application screening, interviewing, and selection of employees.
Advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relation issues taking into consideration written policy and past practices.
Compiles and maintains records for use in employee benefits administration.
Compiles data from personnel records and prepares reports.
Facilitates new hire orientation and onboarding.
Manages benefits administration for all employees.
Assists with plant labor relations activities.
Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
Process and track unemployment claims, cost and assist or attend hearings.
Manages immigration process for employees needing VISA sponsorship.
Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
Manages company organizational charts.
Maintains employee information such as personal data, benefits, tax data, attendance, etc.
Assists employees with concerns or questions.
Updates employee files to document personnel actions and to provide information for payroll and other uses.
Assists in planning and coordinating employee wellness events and other company events.
Examines employee files to answer inquiries and provides information to authorized persons.
Plans and coordinates employee wellness events and other company events.
Supports in the audit for ISO/TS certification.
Supports and actively participates in Company Safety Program.
Represents organization in personnel-related hearings and investigations.
Your profile
Education and/or Experience:
BA or BS in in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required and a minimum of 2 years experience preferred. PHR or SHRM CP a plus.
