POSITION DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the CEO, the Chief Financial Officer is a key member of the senior management team and is responsible for providing strong financial, strategic, and operational leadership to the Company, and for ensuring its financial integrity. Together with the CEO and the rest of the leadership team, the CFO will be expected to drive strategy, determine appropriate financial and operating metrics, and instill accountability throughout the Company. S/he will also work with key financing sources (i.e. capital providers), prepare compliance reports, and interface with third-party stakeholders.
The Company is headquartered in Wichita, KS. The Company maintains a strong internal culture, and all current leadership team members reside in Wichita. Relocation to Wichita is highly preferred for the new CFO, but a weekly commuting arrangement would be considered for exceptional candidates.
The Company successfully completed its first private equity ownership period and recently transitioned to a new private equity partner. The recent recapitalization has left the Company on very strong financial footing and primed for growth. Early focus areas for the new financial sponsor will include select SG&A investments (e.g., salesforce expansion, manufacturing automation), continued organic growth, and acceleration of M&A. Additionally, this individual will help to evaluate and expand the finance organization and lead any required ERP investments and/or upgrades.
This individual will be successful in twelve months if s/he has helped the Company to make the foundational J-curve investments in people, resources, and systems, ensuring the company’s growth trajectory.

COMPENSATION
Compensation will be market-based and competitive; it will include base salary, annual performance-based incentive compensation, and equity plan participation.
