THIRA Health seeks a full-time Finance Manager to manage the execution of daily administrative and financial operations. They will provide effective and supportive management of the Finance, Accounting, Billing, and Contracting staff. Additionally, they will oversee THIRA’s financial reporting, contracting, and revenue cycle performance.

Job Duties:
Manage inhouse and outsourced fiscal operations; assess, consult, troubleshoot, and direct all business finances, contracting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cost tracking, budgeting, financial reporting, patient billing, and bill-payment operations
Prepare or supervise preparation of all local, state, and federal tax reports, returns, etc.
Manage the development, implementation, and administration of overall company budget and create financial projections; manage and appropriately constrain ongoing and one-time expenditures; identify key levers in budget to improve business and inform strategic decision making; manage monthly variance reporting relative to budget
Review financial statements, activity and performance data to measure productivity/goal achievement and/or to identify areas needing cost reduction or program improvement
Manage third-party payer contracting and contracts and create/maintain key performance indicators to utilize in contracting negotiations
Provide support and direct and/or indirect supervision for assigned staff in their roles including but not limited to, training, mentorship, evaluation of performance/competency, conducting disciplinary/corrective measures as needed, and regular oversight of all direct reports to address project statuses/timelines, etc.
Required Experience/Skills:
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field. Certified Public Account (CPA) highly preferred; Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) preferred
Requires five or more (5+) years’ experience in business administration or management, which includes finance, accounting, and billing
Preferred Experience/Skills:
Prior experience working in healthcare administration; mental/behavioral healthcare experience highly preferred

Our Chief Finance & Operations Officer, David Krekel-Zoppi, came to THIRA after nearly a decade at Virginia Mason Medical Center and more recently having managed business and operations with Dr. Mehri Moore at The Moore Center.
