This dynamic Senior Manager, Finance will lead key financial planning and analysis activities for the LSLPG FP&A Management Reporting team in Carlsbad, Ca. They will report to the Director of Finance, working together to provide support to the divisions, groups and functions. This is a high visibility role within the company, allowing you tremendous opportunity for learning and long-term career growth. We are striving to become a center of excellence for the broader finance community, by focusing on automation and continuous improvement while providing valuable reporting insights to the VP of our group. What you will do:
Partner closely with group and divisional leadership to drive process excellence in our key reporting mechanisms of QBR/MBR, AOP, Restatements, STRAP (Long term strategy), and Revenue & EBITA Flashes
FP&A support on key reporting metrics, such as: P&L, MCF, Capital Expenditures, FX, Headcount
Transform, scale and expand our Group Management Reporting value proposition across multiple groups by effectively influencing and breaking down barriers
Develop a “best in class” Group FP&A Management reporting team
Identify and solve for gaps in process within your own team and throughout the organization
Implementation and oversight of appropriate systems, control/process standards, and drive continuous improvement
Safeguard company property and assets embedding financial internal controls, compensatory controls and/or risk mitigation plans into the areas of responsibility
Champion other ad-hoc projects and initiatives, as assigned or as self-identified areas for improvement
How will you get here:
Education:
Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; MBA, CMA, or CPA preferred but not required. Equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Experience:
Minimum of 8 years of progressive finance and/or financial leadership experience in FP&A within a large, multi-national company
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Full comprehension of financial statements and how to use them to analyze a business
Self-reliant, problem solver with a natural bias towards continuous operational improvement
Extremely detail oriented and organized
Outstanding Excel and PowerPoint skills
Experience with Hyperion Planning, Smartview or similar systems
Experience leading and developing successful teams
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Successfully led multiple cross functional finance projects
Proven track record of working with a diverse group of individuals
Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with senior management
Demonstrated experience in a complex, multinational, heavily matrixed organization
