Location/Division Specific Information
This role will be in Bridgewater NJ – supporting Fair Lawn production site within the Laboratory Chemicals Division (LCD).
What will you do?
This finance leader will be expected to develop into a strong business partner of the Site Leader by initiating and implementing actions to increase earnings and cash flow, actively participating in all key operational initiatives, and creating awareness of the business issues and opportunities. In addition, will guide the Sr Finance Manager on operations strategy regarding production cost management and productivity improvements, inventory management, footprint optimization, and capital expenditures, and create/maintain site forecast and AOP.
How will you get here?

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required. A Master’s Degree and/or a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is strongly preferred
• Manufacturing/Distribution experience is A MUST
• An understanding of Cost Accounting is preferred
• Former leadership experience or managerial experience of a team
• A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience as a financial leader with an operational focus is strongly desired

Expectations of the Role

• Provide financial support for New Jersey manufacturing sites and become a strong business partner to the operations’ leadership team in the Bridgewater site
• Lead monthly/quarterly financial close for the manufacturing sites
• Drive rigorous and transparent financial reporting (including savings on productivity improvements, scrap, freight, distribution cost, inventory, backlog, and backorder; production volume, overhead spending), run the site FP&A function
• Lead development of annual budget (AOP), develop monthly/quarterly forecast for the site while owning and partnering on key lines on Operations P&L (Manufacturing spend, Scrap, E&O, Inventory Adjustments, PPV)
• Lead and develop finance organization responsible for General accounting, FP&A activities; own relationships with GBS in Costa Rica (AP/AR/GL support)
• Maintain and test site Internal controls (SOX), ensuring compliance and implementing corrective actions where required
• Ensure adherence to Divisional Approval Authority Matrix/Corporate accounting policies
• Lead Site’s CAPEX requests preparation, review, and submission for approvals
• Perform or lead special projects and ad-hoc financial reporting as required

• Strong overall business acumen: although the primary responsibility is finance, this role will help to develop solutions to broader business issues
• Experience in a global manufacturing organization
• Experience in rolling out financial systems and development of product cost methodologies
• Superior quantitative and analytical capabilities with Advanced Excel skills
• Strong financial systems capabilities (HFM, CMR, OMS, PRMS)
• Must be able to work well under pressure, managing multiple tasks in a complex environment with strong written, oral communication and interpersonal skills.
