Position Summary:
As a member of the Specialty Diagnostics Group Finance team, the Director, Finance Transformation reports to the Senior Director, Finance, Specialty Diagnostics Group. This role will focus on building financial processes, reporting, analytics, and systems for the SDG organization and become a trusted source of expertise for our business and financial colleagues. Key Responsibilities
Partner with Corporate and Divisional finance and IT teams to help drive finance data transformation across the Specialty Diagnostics organization.
Enable data-centric solutions that drive measurable improvements to the consistency & clarity of reporting. Drive efficiencies in existing activities to enable a shift in time spend of time spent from hindsight to foresight across the finance organization
Participate in developing and refining the strategic design considerations around the implementation of robust data warehousing solutions, that accommodate the growing need for better business analytics and the desire to drive efficiencies in the finance organization.
Develop and implement short-term and long-term project plans to drive alignment on strategic direction and enable project execution.
Support Business and Group level business and finance stakeholders to define optimal use cases that meet business strategic and technological needs
Help develop and communicate relevant use cases as part of broader communications/change management plan.
Participate on broader company wide data governance and functional transformation projects

Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or Accounting. MBA preferred!
7+ years of experience in progressive Finance roles including FP&A
Strong knowledge of Excel (i.e., financial models and analysis), Cognos reporting tool (or equivalent), PowerPoint, PowerBI and Hyperion Financial Management (HFM).
Travel, up to 15%.
